I decided to give you a challenge. Since we are doing a Hollywood Boulevard blog hop it has something to do about movies!
My challenge for you is to make or use a playing-card since I have chosen the movie Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. What you do is up to you! You can make an ATC, a card, a layout or alter something. BUT you have to use a playing-card for it, whether you make your own one or use a regular one !
Here you see I did my own playing card instead of that regular rectangle you usually use. Along with that I have used October Afternoon papers, and some scraps I found. Stamps are from Pink Cat Studio.
This is an transparency (From Best Creations I think) that I have cut out and colored with my copics. The brad s colored with copics too since it was white from the beginning and that didn’t match my project. So I colored it, dipped it into 3D gloss and sprinkled glitter on it to give it a sugarcoat.
A close up on the “playing card”. I have used RV21, 23, 29, B00, E0000, 00, and 51. The background is made with distress-inks and the details are made with Glaze pens.
So come on now and show me what you got!
Remember to jump over to Gloria too!

My first Swiss Pixie card

Here is my first work with  Swiss Pixie stamp, and my fist official work with my new wonderful papers from My Little Shoebox!

Papers: My Little Shoebox paper and diecuts and Bazzill Smoothies
Embellishments: Ribbons and Candy dots from CropStop.com, some Prima flowers and 2 brads.

Glaze pens, distress inks.

This was supposed to be one of those “tests” to see what colors that will fit the image. But it turned out so good that I wanted to use it. So I’m not sure that I remember all the colors I have used. But here are the ones i know have been used!

Face: E0000, 00, 21, 51, R20
Hair: Y21, E02, E55
Dress: R81,85 and RV000 and the belt have been colored with E35
Flowers: BG15, B00, RV21, RV23, R29, R59 , the lilac one have to be tested before I know.
Grass: YG63 and G99

March sketchchallenge at CropStop

And this is what I came up with. I’m not satisfied with the LO, but I had a little girl messing around on it while I turned my back and took care of Peyton so I had to fix it somehow. At least I scraped somewhat difficult photos and used up some papers *rofl*

I used a Bazzill fours as a base that I have inked with distressinks (to cover my lovely daughters mess) and Prima papers (Flirty) that I have cut out parts from. I have also used up some Prima flowers, some bling I had in my stash, Rub ons and chipboard. The saying is from an old ATB paper. And if some nice soul knows where to find more of them, please tell me!

An alcoinked chipboard from American Crafts with bling :)

Quite a lot of photos of the card, but I didn’t get a clean shot on it. If the lightning was good I got flashes from the bling in the paper and when I took the photo in the afternoon lightning it turned out tooooo yellow *sigh*

Bazzill dots as a base, and then.. Finally I managed to cut in my lovely DCWV Rustic stack. But it sure was painful ;)
The image is from Heartwarming Vintage and this is probably the first time I ever use something like this! Other then that I have used Prima flowers, Kaiser pearls, a stamp, lace, distress inks, Smooches and my new lovely Spellbinder die “Fancy Tags” that I have colored with some copics (E35 and E29)
